The Hand Control Panel exposes every animated parameter for the hands for quick access. Each finger has its own IK system and is blendable between FK and IK.


There are actually three finger systems at work. One system is controlled via the rotation control spinners and is considered the FK (Forward Kinematic) system. Another system is a IK (Inverse Kinematic) set of fingers that are animated via IK targets. The last system is a blending fingers set that blends between the inverse and forward kinematic systems. This Blending Finger set is what is displayed in the viewport and also used for skinning your character.

Finger joint rotations can be edited individually or grouped as with the entire figure or with similar joints in all fingers.


As in the MSC panel, there is a snapshot system to quickly save and recall poses for the fingers.
