This DVD is Region Free and made from a DVD-R format. Some older DVD players have trouble booting this format, but I have tested it in countless players and PCs without problems. All my testers were able to play the DVD. You will need a PC with a DVD in order to access the Scene files and scripts. If you have problems with the DVD-R format, I ask that you please find a compatible player. At this time it's the only format I have available.

"LOR" the movie"
LOR is a mythology. It’s a story of incredible deeds done long ago before any one can remember, except me of course. LOR is also the name of the creator of life on Earth, and all the robots we see. LOR wants to create animals made of flesh and bone and all these robots we see are prototypes… experiments to see how animals move and behave. As LOR begins to make animals of flesh and bone, we follow the life of one of these creatures as he grows up in the presence of his own creator.

Because I don’t work from a script, I don’t really know where the story is going. If I’m going to spend years and years working on this project, it wouldn’t be as interesting if I know exactly where it was going to end up. It’s not that I don’t have any ideas, I have too many. By the time I sit down to animate a sequence, I have a really good idea of what’s going to happen, but after that, well… I’ll just have to wait until I finish what I have and then see where it leads me. This way, the story feels like I’m discovering it for the first time and I love that feeling.
Each and every element of this movie was designed, modeled, animated, composited and scored right here by me in my home.

Right now LOR is only 5min:35sec in length, but as you read this I’m working on the next segment that will add to the story and take us deep into home of LOR. Kind of a work/live space with test tubes, assorted gizmos, and lots of robots.
